Privacy Policy

1. The Short Version
The content you put into our tools never leaves your device. Every tool on this site runs entirely in your browser. We do not operate a database and we never upload, store, or sell your text, images, or video files.
We do, however, use two third-party services that set cookies and collect limited technical data: Google Analytics (aggregate traffic measurement) and Google AdSense (advertising, which keeps the site free). Those are described in detail below.
2. Local Processing of Your Content
Whether you are splitting a message, compressing a video, generating a timestamp, or previewing a bio, all calculations and rendering happen using client-side JavaScript on your own machine. Files you select in the compressor are read from disk into browser memory and are never transmitted anywhere.
3. Local Storage
We use standard browser localStorage to remember your UI preferences (such as the selected font, timestamp format, or split settings) so you do not have to reconfigure them on every visit. This data stays on your device and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.
4. Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate page views and which tools are used, so we can prioritise improvements. IP anonymisation is enabled. We do not use analytics to build advertising profiles, and we cannot tie any of this back to your Discord account or identity.
5. Advertising & Google AdSense
This site is supported by advertising served through Google AdSense. To do this, Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies. Specifically:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other sites on the internet.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this and/or other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info/choices or youronlinechoices.com.
Google's own handling of this data is governed by the Google Privacy & Terms site.
6. Your Consent Choices
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we ask for your consent before any advertising or analytics cookies are set, using a Google-certified consent management platform. Until you consent, advertising and analytics storage are disabled by default and any ads shown to you are non-personalised.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time:
If no button appears above, your region does not require a consent prompt. You can still manage advertising preferences through the Google links in section 5, or by clearing cookies in your browser.
7. Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
8. Contact
If you have a question about this policy or want to exercise a data right, reach us through our contact page. Because the tools run entirely in your browser and we operate no user accounts, we usually hold no personal data of yours to retrieve or delete.
9. Changes
If we fundamentally change how we process data, this policy will be updated and the "last updated" date above will change.
