The Discord Bio Templates tool gives you ready-made aesthetic, clean, creative, and funny bio layouts that fit perfectly inside Discord's 190-character About Me section. Looking for Discord bio ideas instead of a fixed template? Every layout doubles as a starting point you can edit — swap in your own words to create funny, cute, cool, short, aesthetic, or gaming bio ideas in seconds. Why use bio templates?
Discord's profile "About Me" section is small — only 190 characters including emojis, markdown, and unicode. Templates solve the hardest part: getting something that looks good in that tiny space. Every template here has been designed to fit within Discord's limits and look clean in the profile card.

What formatting works in Discord bios?
Discord's About Me section supports bold (**text**), italic (*text*), underline (__text__), ~~strikethrough~~ (~~text~~), subtext (-# text), block quotes (> text), spoiler tags (||text||), and masked links ([text](url)). Unicode characters, emojis, and special symbols all work too — our templates take full advantage of these.

Frequently asked questions
What is the Discord bio character limit?
Discord's About Me bio is limited to 190 characters, including emojis, markdown symbols, and Unicode decorations. The live counter in the tool shows exactly how much room you have left as you type.
What are some good Discord bio ideas?
Good Discord bio ideas keep things short and intentional — a clean one-liner, an interest stack, or a styled aesthetic layout. Popular categories include funny, cute, cool, aesthetic, short, and gaming bios, all of which you can customize and preview here.
Can I use formatting like bold or italic in a Discord bio?
Yes. Discord bios support bold (**text**), italic (*text*), underline (__text__), strikethrough (~~text~~), subtext (-# text), block quotes (> text), spoilers (||text||), and masked links.
Are these bio templates free to copy?
Yes. Every template is free to copy, customize, and paste into Discord. No account or sign-up is required, and there is no limit on how many you use.
Will emojis and symbols count toward the 190-character limit?
Yes. Emojis often count as 2 characters and decorative Unicode symbols each count as one or more, so keep an eye on the live counter. It is worth leaving a few characters of buffer, because decorative Unicode also wraps sooner inside the narrow profile card.
Where do I actually paste my bio in Discord?
Open User Settings, then Profiles, then edit the About Me field on your main profile. Servers can also have per-server profiles, so you can set a different bio for an individual community from the same screen.
Why does my bio look different in Discord than in the preview?
Usually line wrapping. The profile card is narrow, so decorative borders and long unbroken words wrap earlier than expected. Shortening lines or removing a few symbols almost always fixes it. Custom server emoji also cannot render in a bio — only standard Unicode emoji do.
